The price of petrol-octane-kerosene increased


The government has again increased the price of fuel at the consumer level. The price of petrol, octane and kerosene has been increased by Rs 5 per liter for the month of June. However, the price of diesel has been kept unchanged.

The Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources informed this information in a notification issued on Sunday.

According to the notification, according to the new prices, the price of diesel has been fixed at Tk 115, octane 145, petrol 140 and kerosene at Tk 135. The new prices will be effective tomorrow, Monday (June 1).

Octane, petrol and kerosene prices have increased by Rs 5 per liter compared to May as per the newly fixed prices. However, the price of diesel has been kept at Tk 115 as before.

In a notification issued by the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources on April 18, the price of diesel has been increased by Tk 115 per liter and octane Tk 140 per liter. At the same time, the price of petrol was fixed at Tk 135 and kerosene at Tk 130. Later, in another notification issued on April 30, the government decided to keep fuel oil prices unchanged for the month of May. As a result, diesel was sold at Tk 115, kerosene 130, octane 140 and petrol at Tk 135 per liter throughout the month of May.
