The murder of a businessman in Mitford is the manifestation of the extreme degradation of law and order: Mirza Fakhrul

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has condemned the murder of business youth Mohammad Sohag in front of Mitford Hospital in the capital. He called the murder that took place on July 7 as “demonic and nuclear”.

In a written statement on Friday (July 7th), Mirza Fakhrul said, “This demonic event is not only a life -threatening, it is a manifestation of state security, civil rights and law and order. Terrorism and barbarism have nothing to do with the principles, ideals and politics of our organization. Whatever the criminal, its place can never be above law and justice. '

The BNP secretary general also said that after the fall of the Awami Fascist government in the July-August mass movement, the brutal incident mentioned deeply in the conscience of the people of the country. Unless the exemplary judgment of the demonic and vicious events that happened publicly, the culture of irresponsibility will immerse our society in the deep darkness.

He urged the interim government, “I would like to say to the interim government, to ensure an immediate neutral and credible investigation of the above mentioned incident and bring the real criminals under the law and establish exemplary punishment.”

In the statement, Mirza Fakhrul expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family of the deceased Sohag and said, “I wish the forgiveness of the soul of the deceased and extend my deep condolences to his family.”
