The British Supreme Court determined the definition of 'women'

The UK Supreme Court has said that in the British law of the British law, the 'women' are created to ensure equality, which are the 'biological gender women', who are physically women. The court, however, said that the transgender will not be in trouble in the verdict. The news agency Reuters reports this information.

In view of the case filed by a transgender woman, the British Supreme Court today gave the verdict and determined the definition of women. The contents of the case were-whether the Zender Recognition Certificate (GRC) is a Trans-Woman in Britain's Equality Act to get protection from discrimination as women. The GRC is a formal document that recognizes the new sex of the person legal.

This case is a new example of the controversy over the rights of transgender. The matter was finally gone to court. For Women, a right of the Scotland, said that the right to equality should be based only on the innate sex. They also opposed a directive of the Scotland government. This directive was given with a law of 20. The purpose of the law was to increase the number of women workers in government institutions.

Scotland ministers said that transgender women who have a government certificate of gender change are legally women. On this issue, Scotland lost to a court in Scotland. They then appealed to the Supreme Court. After that appeal last November, the Supreme Court ruled for them.

British Chief Justice Patrick Hajj said, “Everyone in the court has agreed that in the law of equality of 20, women and gender means physically women and birth gender.” He also said, “But we would say that this verdict should not be seen as a victory or a defeat of another party.” It's not like that. '

Opponents of Scotland law said that the definition of this law could create problems in separate services for women such as Akshak Kendra, Hospital Word and Play. But people who are fighting for transgender rights said that if the court runs for Scotland, those who have gender change official documents, especially the job discrimination, may be discriminated against.

Justice Hajj said, “The correct meaning of the law of equality is congenital gender. As a result, the transgenders will not have any difficulty, whether they have a government paper on gender change or not. ' He added, “The rights that transgers have the rights because they have the gender change, they deserve.”
