The Bangladesh Student Federation has demanded the formation of a 'National Student Council' with all the student organizations participating in the popular uprising to uphold the national unity of the July uprising.
President of the organization Moshiur Rahman Richard made this demand on Saturday (November 30) in a short rally at the foot of anti-terrorist Raju sculpture of Dhaka University before the trial of July murder and the 'Sanhati Yatra' to resist Indian supremacy.
Moshiur Rahman Richard said that the citizens of Bangladesh are protesting against Indian supremacy. Due to this, the Indian doctors have stopped the treatment of Bangladeshis by announcing. In this situation, we are worried about the safety of the citizens of Bangladesh.
Claiming that a conspiracy is being made to destroy national unity through various conspiracies, he said, “Our national unity is being destroyed.” ScienceLab, which was one of the hubs of the popular uprising movement, where all the students fought shoulder to shoulder in the anti-dictatorship movement, students themselves got into fights. We demanded formation of National Students Council from the beginning. There is no alternative to protect national unity.
Addressing the interim government, he said, “You could not control the conflict between different colleges.” Don't give us lame arguments to confront students.
He also said that we can build real anti-discrimination if we stand shoulder to shoulder instead of being divided. We all have to unite and fight against Indian supremacy. All defense agreements with India should be cancelled, all unfair agreements should be washed away in the Bay of Bengal. And those with whom the unfair contract must be cancelled. Our week-long 'Sahhati Yatra' will continue across the country.
After the rally, the march started from the Raju Sculpture and circled around the different areas of Dhaka University and ended at Kantaban.
