Rumin Farhana thanked BNP for not giving nomination

Member of Parliament for Brahmanbaria-2 (Sarail-Ashuganj) Rumin Farhana has commented that he has realized the love of the people of the country more deeply because he did not get a party nomination from BNP in the 13th National Assembly Elections. He thanked BNP for this.

He said this while participating in the discussion of the motion of thanks on the President’s speech in the National Parliament today.

Thanking BNP, he said, ‘I understood the love of lakhs of people of the country because BNP did not give nomination.’

Expressing gratitude to the people of the constituency, Independent Member of Parliament Rumin Farhana said, ‘Many of my leaders and workers voted for me out of fear. Expelled from the party. But they didn’t leave me. Thanks BNP for not nominating me. Because of not being nominated, I realized how many lakhs of people from Teknaf to Tentulia were with me. I would not have had the luck to understand this to be elected from within a party line.’

It is to be noted that in the 13th national election, Rumin Farhana won by a large number of votes as an independent candidate in the ‘Duck’ symbol.
