Brigadier General Abdullahil Aman Azmi has been given 'compulsory retirement' in lieu of dismissal, with the order of dismissal modified. On 24th December, 'temporary (compulsory) retirement' has been given ex post facto from 24th June, 2009 by this amendment.
This information was informed in a circular from the army on Friday.
According to the notification, Brigadier General Abdullahil Aman Azmi, PSC, has been granted 'temporary (compulsory) retirement' ex post facto from June 24, 2009, in lieu of his dismissal order on December 24, 2024.
The notification also informed that Brigadier General Abdullahil Aman Azmi has been granted 'temporary (compulsory) retirement' with all applicable financial and other benefits from June 24, 2009. At the same time, the earlier notification of dismissal of the officer issued by the Ministry of Defense on June 23, 2009 has been cancelled.
