The price of gold has increased in the country market. The price of a 22 carat gold has been fixed at Tk 1 lakh 5 thousand 20, which is the highest in the history of the country.

The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (Bajus) said in a press release on Wednesday (April 7th). The new price is said to be effective from Thursday (April 7).

Bajus said the price has been rescheduled due to the rise in the price of PO Gold or Tejabi gold in the local market. Last night, on the night of April 5, the price of gold was reduced to a maximum of Rs.

Global context

Gold prices are also running in the world market. In the wake of trade tensions and counter -tariffs between the United States and China, the price of gold per gold in the international market has exceeded $ 4,000, the highest of all time.

Silver market stable

Although the price of gold has changed, the price of silver has not changed. According to the prescribed price of Bajus, 22 carat silver is Tk 2,000, 25 carats 2 thousand 5 rupees, 3 carat 2 thousand 5 rupees and the traditional method of silver is Tk.

Concerned that the record was created at the price of gold in global economic uncertainty, safe investment tendencies and supply crisis in the local market. Many traders have also expressed doubts that prices may rise further.
