The National Citizens Party (NCP) protested and concern over the death of a 20 -year -old Bangladeshi youth named Hasibul Alam at the Hatibandha border in Lalmonirhat on Wednesday (April 7th) at the Indian Border Security Force (BSF).
In a statement signed by Jatiya Citizens Party (NCP) Joint Member Secretary Saleh Uddin Sifat on Thursday (April 7th), the party protested and concerned the incident.
In a statement, the NCP said the BSF picked up Hasibul Alam in critical condition of the shootings. He was martyred at a hospital in Koch Bihar, India at night.
Earlier on April 5, a Bangladeshi youth named BSF Wasim Hossain (1) was beaten to death at the Polyianpur border in Jhenaidah on April 5, saying, “Wasim Hossain's body was dumped in the river as an extreme example of inhumanity.”
According to the notice, the coup is being shot dead at the border by breaking the direct violation of international law and bilateral agreement and even inhumanely treated their bodies. At least three Bangladeshi citizens have been martyred in the hands of BSF this month. At various times during the July coup, the youth of Bangladesh have continued political and cultural activities against the border killing. But the Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh and the foreign policy have failed to take appropriate steps to stop border killings so far.
Calling the government to the government, the NCP says, ensure the safety of the citizens of all the border districts on behalf of the state. At the same time, go beyond Dhaka -centricity and take up programs to improve the quality of life of the citizens of the border area and enhance the capacity. The NCP demanded the raising of such serious human rights violations such as border killings by the Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh as a coup government.
