Mohammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bangladesh, accused former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of ruining everything in the country.
Yunus said that Hasina completely destroyed the government system of the country during her 15-year tenure. We have a huge responsibility to rebuild it by restoring democracy, economic stability and public confidence. He said this in an interview given to Japanese newspaper Nikkei Asia.
Yunus has currently ruled out the possibility of elections in Bangladesh. He said that we will officially demand for Hasina's extradition from India after the completion of her trial. Former Prime Minister Hasina is living in exile after the coup in Bangladesh.

Yunus alleged that Sheikh Hasina was acting like a fascist ruler.
Elections after changes in the constitution and judiciary
- Yunus alleged that democratic principles were completely ignored during Hasina's rule. Hasina conducted fake elections without the participation of voters for three consecutive terms. He declared himself and his party victorious without any fight.
- Elections will be held in the country only after changes in the constitution and judiciary. We need to reform the administration, bureaucracy and judiciary in the country before the elections.
- The interim government has formed several commissions to make changes in the country's constitution, judiciary and electoral process. The recommendations received from these commissions will be implemented on full scale from January. It may take time to implement these recommendations. We are creating a completely new Bangladesh.
- We will officially demand Hasina's extradition from India after her trial is completed. India and Bangladesh signed an international law, according to which India will have to accept Bangladesh's demand.
- Apart from this, Yunus has termed the concerns of the Indian government regarding the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh as baseless and propaganda. Bangladesh had summoned the Indian High Commission on Tuesday itself after the attack on the Bangladeshi mission in Tripura.

Mohammad Yunus was sworn in as Chief Advisor after Sheikh Hasina left the country in August.
Hasina said- Yunus is committing genocide in Bangladesh
Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday attacked Chief Advisor Yunus over the violence against Hindus. While virtually addressing an event in New York, Hasina said that Yunis has committed genocide in the country.
Hasina said-
“I am being blamed for the mass murders in Bangladesh, but in reality it is Mohammad Yunus who is in collusion with student leaders and is involved in the mass murders.
