BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has left Dhaka for UK. He left on a Bangladesh Biman flight at 8:20 am on Saturday (November 30). His wife Rahat Ara Begum is also there.
However, it is not known when the BNP Secretary General can return to the country. It is said that a preparatory meeting has been held at the initiative of UK BNP to welcome him.
Talking to UK representative of Bengali Tribune after evening local time on Wednesday, BNP Chairperson's advisor and UK BNP president MA Malek said, 'Mirza Fakhrul is coming to London for the treatment of Rahat Ara Begum. As far as I know, Rahat Ara Begum needs urgent treatment.'
It is known that Mirza Fakhrul will stay at least four-five days on this trip. At this time, a meeting and a meeting with the acting chairman of the party, Tarek Rahman, is also scheduled.
