Motor vehicle manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India plans to expand its overall service network to 8,000 'touchpoints' by 2030-31. The company on Wednesday opened the 500th service 'touchpoint' for its premium retail outlet Nexa.
It currently has 5,240 'touchpoints' across Nexa as well as large-scale retail chain Arena. 'Touchpoint' is a means of providing better services to customers. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Maruti Suzuki India, said in the statement, “Our aim is to provide our customers with continued convenience and a better car ownership experience. One way to do this is by getting closer to our customers, giving them the assurance of having a Maruti Suzuki service 'touchpoint' near them.
