BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has arrived in London to seek advanced treatment. The air ambulance carrying him landed at London's Heathrow Airport at 2:58 PM Bangladesh time on Wednesday (January 8).
BNP Chairperson's Press Wing Officer Shamsuddin Didar informed this information. He said that the air ambulance that took off from Shahjalal International Airport with Begum Khaleda Zia landed at Heathrow Airport via Doha, Qatar, at 11:46 PM on Tuesday (January 7).
Acting High Commissioner Hazrat Ali Khan greeted BNP Chairperson at Heathrow Airport on behalf of Bangladesh High Commission in UK.
Before Khaleda Zia arrived in London, UK BNP leaders and activists stood outside Heathrow airport to greet her.
BNP standing committee members bid farewell to Khaleda Zia at Shahjalal Airport yesterday. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Abdul Moin Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salauddin Ahmed, Selima Rahman, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku and Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Birbikram were present at this time.
BNP Chairperson went to London after almost seven years. His personal doctor officially in front of reporters last Monday. AZM Zahid Hossain said that he will be admitted to 'London Clinic' after reaching UK.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia along with her doctors, family and work assistants are on the visit. The air ambulance was carrying a team of Qatari government doctors.
