After the discussion with the Election Commission, the BNP has said that according to the commission, they think national elections can be made very quickly. However, if any proposal of the Reform Commission is considered a hindrance to a fair election, the party will stop it.

A BNP delegation met with the Commission on Sunday at the election building in Agargaon in the capital. Salahuddin Ahmed and Selima Rahman, two members of the standing committee were led by Nazrul Islam Khan, the standing committee members of the party.

At the conference room of the election building, Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin, Election Commissioner Anwarul Islam Sarkar, Abdur Rahmanel Masud, Begum Tahmida Ahmed and Brigadier General (Retd) Abul Fazal Md. Sanaullah took part.

Nazrul Islam Khan told reporters that the meeting was discussed in preparation for the activities of the Election Commission and national elections, “As much as I know from the Commission, the overall preparations for the elections can be completed by May this year. If that happens, the national election program is possible soon after completing the preparation. '

Responding to a question at the time, Nazrul Islam said, “If we (BNP) think that any proposal of the Reform Commission is interrupted in the way of a fair election, we will also stop.”

Meeting with the chief adviser today

A BNP delegation is going to hold a meeting with Professor Muhammad Yunus, chief adviser to the interim government. The meeting is expected to be held at the state guest building Jamuna at 7pm on Monday.

In this regard, Nazrul Islam said, “It is the responsibility of the government to announce the date of the election. We (BNP) have discussions with the chief adviser tomorrow (Monday). We will discuss this topic there. '

What Mirza Fakhrul said with 'Operation Devil Hunt'

Asked about the 'Operation Devil Hunt' of Joint Forces, which started nationwide, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, 'This (Operation Devil Hunt) is a brother! We were out. Devil Hunt doesn't know about. The only Devil is that we know the fascist government. '

Mirza Fakhrul told reporters at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday after the US visit. Later, the journalists gave some idea about the special operation and thanked the interim government for the BNP secretary general. He said, “They (the government) have been realized for so many days, so thank them.”

Mirza Fakhrul also advised everyone to be careful about the prevailing situation in the country. He said, “In Bangladesh, the student-Janata fascist Hasina has achieved success through a coup to overthrow the government. But today, we should not get the trap of Hasina's leaves. Today, stability in the country is being destroyed, unrest is being created. The fascist regime that Hasina was completely responsible for this is responsible for this. Today we have to set foot very carefully. '

Asked about the physical condition of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in the UK, Mirza Fakhrul said, “Madam (Khaleda Zia) is good. His treatment is underway. '
