Seikh Bashir Uddin, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce and Jute and Textiles, said, “We will try to make the price of food items as affordable as possible on the occasion of the upcoming Ramadan.” He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the education allowance distribution ceremony for the children of late members of DRU organized at Crab Auditorium in Segunbagicha of the capital on Saturday.
The trade advisor said, 'I know you are in a lot of trouble. But also want to say that we keep trying. Meanwhile, prices of onion, sugar and oil have come down a bit.'
He further said, 'The khatib of our national mosque has fled, in such a situation, this government has been formed by the movement of students. Our aim is to build a dignified society.'
The event was also attended by Director and Chairman of NRBC Bank AKM Mostafizur Rahman, Managing Director Md. Rabiul Islam, DRU President Syed Sukkur Ali Shubo, General Secretary Mohiuddin etc.
