The protests that had been released from the Dhaka University student hall on the night of July 7 last year, demanding quota reforms, broke the 'Awami League's Razakar Narrative' and commented that 'everything in Bangladesh' has changed that night. She said this at a roundtable held in the capital recently on the occasion of International Women's Day.
Samanta Sharmin said, “Everything in the whole of Bangladesh has changed on July 7, only for the night of July 5 – we have to say it. On July 7, the girls of every hall are the only Narrative Razakar of the Awami League .. The only Narrative is breaking the girls. There were many types of turning moments on the bend of our apricot, where we might have been disappointed, and we were uplift. But the entire Narrative of Epizing is changing .. The girls are directing the girls – it is the girls – we have to tell it and that happened on July 7. '
Responding to reporters' questions about the liberation war quota at the Prime Minister's Office on July 7 last year, the then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “Why is it so angry against the War of Liberation and the freedom fighters?” If the children of the freedom fighters will not get the rajakar's grandchildren?
Through this comment, he claimed that the protesters called Razakar – the students protested at Dhaka University. Then it spread across the country like a fire. Thousands of students from Dhaka University, including Rokeya Hall, came down the highway on the night of July 7. The slogan on their face was 'Who are you, Razakar Razakar'.
However, Sheikh Hasina later explained her statement that protests were created by incorrectly presenting the context of her comments. He did not say the 'razakar' of the agitators. But the protests did not subside.
Then the quota reform movement took a new breeze, which took the government to the fall movement. In this movement widespread violence spread. The Awami League government faced the mass uprising of the students by killing the power to sustain power. Sheikh Hasina left the country on August 7 in the face of the coup.
In front of Women's Day, the Prothom-alo on February 26 organized the discussion titled 'Women's fight, security, leadership and obstruction of society' in the capital's caravan market.
Taking part in the discussion, NCP leader Samanta said, “I do not want for the for Secure of Women's Participation at all, if anyone is not qualified, let's go anywhere – I do not want it. It's Cloud and Clear – I don't want it. That means that our job is to make girls qualified … as much as the processes can be taken and from personal partispection to personal initiatives as political grooming here, they can be politically establish. '
“We have to do this with responsibility,” Samanta said, “We have to do it with a strong promise to make women the safety system.” It's the work of the state, it's not about us to do. But still we will do when we have to do. Because, if not, then it will be seen again that we are falling into the old guarantee. So we don't want to read in this guarantee anymore. In order to move forward, we must be elected women leadership on the basis of merit. Not worthy, but if you still sit down, it is very much for us .. It becomes very harmful to us in the long term, we have to be eligible. Should be set up on the basis of merit. '
Samanta added, “I can see various arrangements for women to speak and listen to women in Anachanacha in Bangladesh. We have to take these arrangements to different dimensions. Discussion and criticism are important, with it politics is important. '
“We have had a racial experience through the mass uprising of 20,” he said. Here everyone has a feeling that we need unity. It's yet unclear, not visible. The interim government is now trying to make it visible with the political parties. Ekta is required to create a connection between each sector. This is very important for women. '
Samanta said, “The women who are coming to Parliament through the nomination, cannot properly highlight the women society. Rather, they highlight the interests of the party. The reserved and nominated women's seats are actually the opposite of creating women leadership. Great confidence works in the direct victory by the people's vote. '
