Only 22 years old. At this age, it is supposed to dominate the field. But Marco Angulo lost to death. This Ecuadorian defensive midfielder died after a road accident in the hospital with 35 deaths.
Angulo had an accident in the city of Quito. He got serious injuries in different parts of his body. He was also injured in the brain. After surgery, he was kept in intensive care. But there was no return from there.
Angulo started his professional career in 2020 with Independiente Juniors of Ecuador. Last year joined the US Major Soccer League (MLS) club Cincinnati. From there he joined Quito's club LDU this year.
Angulo made his debut for Ecuador in 2022. Played 3 matches in two years.
