BNP’s candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency and a member of the party’s standing committee Mirza Abbas said, “We defeated the Pakistani army in 1971.” Wearing lungis, bare feet, the people of this country have thwarted all conspiracies. We resisted Awami League. We resisted Ershad. It will be resisted this time too.’

He said these things during the election campaign in North Shahjahanpur of the capital today.

Mirza Abbas said, ‘People of Bangladesh know the history of all conspiracies and know how to answer them when the time comes. The statement that BNP will not be given a single seat in Dhaka city or in the entire country is completely undemocratic and arbitrary. No party or group owns our seats in Dhaka city or Bangladesh. Only Allah and the people own the seats.’

At that time, highlighting the problems of the area, Mirza Abbas said that drugs, extortion and terrorism have spread terribly in the area in 17 years. His main priority will be to rid the area of ​​these three problems.

Claiming that there are various misinformation around him on social media, Mirza Abbas said that various types of weapons are being used to attack a person on purpose. There is no truth to these statements and so-called documents.
