The minister said that the satellite internet service provider is in the process of fulfilling all the requirements. After the completion of the process they will get the license. Scindia told reporters that they (Starlink) will have to follow all the rules to get the license.
He said that you have to look at it from the security point of view also. They are in the process of doing so. Once all the requirements are met they will get the license. He said this when asked about the progress of the process of obtaining the license of Starlink. At present, the government has issued the license to Jio Satellite Communications, a joint venture of Bharti Group-backed OneWeb and Jio-SES.
