Earlier, the leaders and activists of the National Citizens Committee organized a rally to protest the attack on the students. The protest rally was organized at the Gazipur district and metropolitan branch of the National Citizens Committee at Rajbari grounds in Gazipur district yesterday. Later, the students took a procession and circled different areas of the city.
At the protest rally, the central organizer of the National Citizens Committee Ali Nasser Khan said that the culprits should be arrested and tried within 24 hours in connection with the attack on the students. The fascists will have to be judged by the quick trial law by canceling the registration of the Awami League. They have to seize bank accounts and assets.
The rally also spoke at the central member of the National Citizens Committee, M Soweb, Gazipur Metropolitan Representative Anisur Rahman, Tongi West Police Station Representative Nabil Yusuf.
