The leaders and workers of the Dhaka University (DU) branch of the party took out a protest in the name of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal. The procession started from TSC of the university at around 8:30 pm on Saturday (January 4) and ended with a short speech when it reached Raju Bhaskarya via VC Chatwar.
At this time, they are also seen giving slogans like 'Action Action Direct Action', 'Direct Action Against Propaganda', 'Direct Action Against Bot Army' etc. Chhatra Dal's DU branch president Ganesh Chandra Roy Sahas and general secretary Nahiduzzaman Shipan were present in the protest march.
At that time, the speakers said that after the popular uprising of 2024, some media outlets reported news without verifying the information on various issues, including the recent Daksu election and the attack on the leader of the People's Rights Council in the central Shaheed Minar in the name of Chhatra Dal leaders and activists. A nefarious group has indulged in baseless, untrue and fabricated rumors and propaganda.
Ganesh Chandra Roy Sahas said that some forces of lies are weaving a web of conspiracy against Chhatra Dal. Leaders and workers of various secret organizations are lying. We want to make it clear to the secret forces that no matter how many conspiracies, the reputation of Chhatra Dal will not be tarnished. The defeating power of 71 still lingers.
Nahiduzzaman Shipon said that the defeated forces of 71 and 24 are jointly carrying out false propaganda in the name of Chhatra Dal. They are saying bad things in the name of Chhatra Dal on different social media. Today's protest is in protest.
