Canadian Peel Police sharing information about arrested Arshdeep Singh.
Peel Police of Canada has arrested a Punjabi youth. The young man is accused of raping three women. All the incidents are from this month. The accused used to trap women by posing as a rideshare operator and then would take them to isolated places and rape them.

The arrested youth has been identified as Arshdeep Singh (22). The young man came to Canada from Punjab on a study visa in December 2022. He was living in Brampton city of Canada.
Peel and Yak police launched a joint operation to solve the case. The victim women told that the young man used to talk in Punjabi from time to time. After which the police started interrogating the youth of Punjabi origin. Yesterday (27 November) the police caught the accused.
The accused's car was captured in CCTV.
Know the events of November 8, 2024 – At approximately 7:00 am (Canadian time), a woman was standing at a bus stop (Countryside Drive and Brumley Road, Brampton). The driver of a black 4-door sedan car introduced himself as a rideshare operator. The woman was taken to the city of Vaughan (Highway 27 and Nashville Road). Raped the woman forcefully.
Rape with another woman within an hour At 7.45 am the same day, another woman was at a bus stop at Gorridge Crescent and Via Romano Way (Brampton). The accused took her to Highway 50 (south of Gore Road). Sexually harassed her.
November 16, 2024 – At about 6:45 a.m., a woman was standing at a bus stop near Airport Road and Humberwest Parkway (Brampton). The accused took the woman to Countride Drive (near Airport Road). Raped the woman forcefully.

3 cases registered against the accused, presented in court Three cases have been registered against the accused. Sections of sexual assault, sexual assault with weapon, sexual assault by strangulation, robbery and intimidation have been added. The accused has been presented in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. The police have appealed to the public that if anyone else has any information related to this accused, they should immediately contact the police.
Do not take rideshare services, always be alert Peel Regional Police Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich said this arrest is the result of a lot of hard work by our team. We will continue to do everything possible to prevent sexual violence and gender-based crimes. At the same time, York Regional Police Deputy Chief Alvaro Almeida said that because of our joint action, this case could be solved quickly. This is another successful example of collaboration between the two departments. The police have appealed to the public not to take rideshare services from any unknown person and to always remain alert.
