Bruno Fernandes boarded a plane to Portugal to play in the Nations League. I never thought I would face such a situation in a plane. A passenger was fainting in front of him. This midfielder who showed bravery on the field also appeared in the same role off the field. The passenger's life was saved with the help of Bruno.
The incident took place on an EasyJet flight on Monday. Bruno had a goal and two assists in Manchester United's 3-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday. He then flew to Lisbon to play for the national team against Poland and Croatia.
Suzanna Lawson, another fellow passenger, spoke about the experience at that time. He told UK newspaper Business Cloud that Fernandes went to the toilet at that time. Moments later he heard her screaming for help, 'Bruno was holding a passenger. It seemed that the passenger was going to die. I can't tell if he lost consciousness.'
He added, 'There was an extra seat. Bruno then tried to seat the passenger. Bruno stayed there until the man recovered.'
The Portuguese star praised the fellow passengers in this incident. Susanna Lawson later took a selfie with Fernandes.
