Arab Finance – New Fortis Energy signs a new agreement to deploy a floating storage in Damietta


Arab Finance: New Fortress Energy Inc. announced. (NASDAC: NFE), through one of its subsidiaries, has signed a five -year agreement with the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), to publish a storage unit and re -convert gas to its floating gas (FSRU) called Energos Winter with a capacity of 138,250 cubic meters, at a station Importing natural gas Egas -affiliated LNA in Damietta.

This unit is the second of its kind that the company publishes in Egypt, where Energos Winter is scheduled to join the first unit Energos Eskimo as of next August, which reflects the expansion of cooperation between the two sides in the field of energy supplies.

“We are pleased to strengthen our relationship with IGAS by publishing a second unit to re -divert gas, which supports our goals in providing reliable and costly energy in various parts of the world,” said Chris Jinta, the financial manager of New Fortis Energy.

For his part, Yassin Mohamed, Executive Director of EGAS said: “EGAS is happy to enhance its long -term partnership with New Fortis Energy by signing a second re -transfer services agreement.

The Energos Winter unit will contribute to providing gas re -transfer services at Damietta Station, supporting the security of natural gas supplies to the Arab Republic of Egypt over the next five years. “
