The number of road accident injuries in Egypt during the year 2024, according to the Central Agency for Mobilization and Statistics, reached 76,362 injuries compared to 71016 in 2023, an increase of 7.5%, and Dakahlia Governorate came the highest number of injuries at the governorate level, as it reached 15563 injuries, while the lowest number of injuries in Suez Governorate reached 39 injuries during 2024.

While the number of cars injuries during the past year reached 4,226, compared to 16820 resulting from train accidents.
