Egypt is moving forward with the establishment of a phosphate industry complex in Ain Sukhna

Arab Finance: Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, held an extensive discussion session with Eng. Ahmed Al -Suwaidi, CEO of Al Suwaidi Electric, to follow up on the developments of the project Phosphate industry production complex In the eye of heat.

The project comes within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Egyptian General Authority for Mineral Resources and Al -Suwaidi Cap Investment Company, with the aim of exploiting phosphate ore in the Nile Valley (Al -Sebaea Mines) and maximizing the economic return from it by raising the concentration of crude and using it in advanced transformational industries.

The minister stressed that the project has full support from the political leadership and the government to enhance the mining sector and increase its contribution to the national economy, stressing the importance of holding periodic meetings to follow up the implementation.

For his part, Ahmed Al -Suwaidi expressed his pride in partnership with the Mineral Resources Authority, explaining that the complex will contribute to the development of phosphate industries and the production of phosphoric and fertilizer acid to meet the needs of the local market and increase export opportunities.
