Arab Finance: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Bourg Brandet, President World Economic Forum And his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Dr. Badr Abdel-Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, and Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade.

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that during the meeting, Mr. President discussed the development efforts made by Egypt, foremost of which are projects in the infrastructure, industry and agriculture sectors, and the great investment opportunities these projects provide.

In this context, the President of the World Economic Forum praised the great steps taken by Egypt in the field of economic reform and attracting investments, noting the Forum’s interest in highlighting the successful Egyptian experience in this field.

The official spokesman added that Mr. President stressed to the President of the Forum the importance of joint cooperation and encouraging the foreign private sector to invest in priority sectors in Egypt, most notably the sectors of industry, sustainable energy, communications, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and transportation.
