Awami League leader and former member of Parliament Abdus Sobhan Golap, his wife Gulshan Ara Mia, son Ivan Sobhan Mia and daughter Anisha Golap Mia have been ordered to seize the movable and immovable assets.

The same court ordered the freezing of bank accounts of former railway minister Jillul Hakeem, his wife Saeeda Hakeem and son Ashiq Mahmood.
ACC Assistant Director Aminul Islam said that this order was given in view of the application of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
A five-storied house in Mirpur is listed in the Croce list of assets held by Abdus Sobhan Golap and his wife and children. Apart from this, there are 9 properties in the United States. 8 of these are single residential condo units. Another is the dual family unit.
Apart from this, the court ordered to freeze 53 bank accounts of Abdus Sobhan Golap, his wife and children.
According to the ACC's application, Abdus Sobhan Golap, his wife and children have built up these assets abroad through illegal money laundering.
Arrangements should be made to bring these resources back to the country under Croce's instructions. It is necessary to instruct the relevant ministries and other organizations. On the other hand, the bank account in their name needs to be blocked. If the bank account is not blocked, the money in the account can be lost.
Earlier on October 2, Awami League publicity secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap was banned by the court from traveling abroad.
ACC has informed the court that ACC is investigating allegations of money laundering, buying houses and flats against Abdus Sobhan in the United States. A large amount of wealth has been found in the name of Abdus Sobhan and his family members. Golap was arrested on August 25 last year and is in jail.
Zillul Hakeem and his family
According to ACC's application, former railway minister Zillul Hakim, his wife Saeedah Hakim and son Ashiq Mahmud have Tk 14 crore 25 lakh as bank deposits. Former Railway Minister Zillul Hakim has acquired huge wealth through various irregularities.
ACC is investigating these allegations. Zillul Hakim currently has 12 crores 36 lakhs of deposits in 19 banks. On the other hand, his wife Saeedah Hakim has 1 crore 25 lakhs deposited in 6 banks. Apart from this, his son Ashiq Mahmood has a deposit of Tk 2 lakh 70 thousand in a bank.
The application also stated that the ACC has learned from reliable sources that the accused persons are trying to transfer, transfer and withdraw the money deposited in the bank. If the freezing of these moneys in the bank is not ordered, the state will suffer irreparable loss and the investigation and inquiry process will be disrupted.
