The bodies of father, mother and daughter were recovered from their house in South Delhi's Neb Sarai area. Police believe that they were killed using sharp weapons. According to the report of NDTV, this incident happened on Wednesday morning.
The deceased are Rajesh (53), his wife Komal (47) and their 23-year-old daughter Kavita.
The son of the deceased couple went out for a walk around 5 am as usual. When he came back, he saw the bloody bodies of his parents and sister lying on the ground. The son also said that today was his parents' wedding anniversary. He greeted his parents in the morning and left the house.
A neighbor told news agency ANI that they rushed to the house after hearing the noise. The son of the deceased couple said that he had gone for a walk in the morning. When he came back, he saw that his parents and sister had been stabbed to death. Blood is spread around the body.
According to the police, the bodies have been sent for three post-mortems. Initial investigations suggest that the murder was caused by the use of a sharp weapon. However, no evidence was found that robbery was intended.
The police also said that the murder is being investigated from all angles. It is not possible to say anything right now. The search is on for whoever is involved in this murder. The police of Neb Sarai police station are interrogating the deceased's son and the surrounding people. Apart from this, the police are also looking into the CCTV cameras installed on the streets and outside.
