Biden has been declared victorious in the state by 1,54,000 votes. His victory has dealt a major blow to President Donald Trump who has been alleging rigging in the election process.
The Board of State Canvassers confirmed Biden's victory by three-nil. There are two Republicans and two Democrats on this board. Trump's ally and Senate candidate John James, who was defeated in the election, had requested the jury to postpone the voting process for two weeks.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a statement saying, 'The people of Michigan have given a mandate. Newly elected President Biden has won the state of Michigan by 1,54,000 votes and will be our next President on January 20.
