Now BJP leaders have also reacted to the ongoing controversy over the word Dravidian in Tamil Nadu and have launched a scathing attack on the Tamil Nadu CM. In fact, during a program in Chennai, CM Stalin alleged the removal of the word Dravidian from the state anthem of Tamil Nadu and even demanded the removal of the Governor over this.
BJP leader said – efforts are being made to divide the country
On this, Tamil Nadu BJP Vice President Narayan Tirupati said that 'the unity of the country is being destroyed by the INDIA alliance and especially by MK Stalin and his son. BR Ambedkar had clearly said that there is nothing like Aryan and Dravidian races. This is all a myth. Dravidian is a geographical location. These people have been trying to divide the country on the basis of religion, caste, region and geography for the last 50-60 years.

This is the root of the dispute
It is noteworthy that the closing ceremony of Hindi Month was organized in Chennai on Friday. Governor RN Ravi was also present as a guest in this program. During the programme, a troupe sang the state anthem 'Tamil Thai Vazhthu'. During this time, the word Dravid was reportedly left out of the state anthem. On which there was a dispute. CM Stalin targeted Governor RN Ravi and termed the removal of the word Dravidian from the state anthem as an insult to the state and the Tamil language. The CM alleged that Governor Dravid was suffering from allergies. The CM also demanded the removal of the Governor from the post. However, Governor's media advisor Thirugnana Sambandam put out a post on X on Friday saying, 'The troupe that recites Thamizhathai Vazhathu at the beginning of the program has inadvertently missed a line which includes the word “Dravidian”. The matter was immediately brought to the notice of the organizers and the authorities were also informed about it.
Former Governor said- Prime Minister took Tamil language to other states
Former Governor of Telangana and senior BJP leader Dr. Tamilsai Sundararajan said that 'DMK repeatedly wants to make it appear as if the Central Government is imposing Hindi. In fact, Tamil Chair was established in Hindu Banaras University. A port in Maharashtra was named after Rajendra Chola and his statue was also installed there. The Prime Minister has taken Tamil language to other states. I question CM Stalin that Sengol, who is a symbol of Tamil tradition, has been installed in Parliament. What respect did they give him? The three language policy is not only for learning Hindi, but it is for learning any other language other than one's mother tongue, then why are they opposing it? People from other states are also learning Tamil language, then why are you not allowing the people here to learn another language?
