‘Paper leak has become a seasonal activity…’, Abhishek Manu Singhvi fired at the government, know what he said


Senior Congress leader and Supreme Court lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Saturday (June 27) targeted the government over repeated paper leaks in the country. He raised questions on accountability regarding Maharashtra TET 2026 paper leak issue. Speaking to news agency ANI, Singhvi said that nowadays this (paper leak) is a SeasonIt has become an activity.

The Congress leader has described these recurring incidents as the biggest example of political stubbornness and failure to fulfill responsibility. Singhvi said that these consecutive cases are examples of stubborn politics. His comments come after Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) postponed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be held on June 28 following allegations of question paper leak.

3 people in custody
Based on intelligence, Bhiwandi police conducted a raid and detained 3 people. Officials said that question papers in several sets were recovered and examined, which confirmed the leak of exam material. Thane Police has formed SIT to investigate the matter. Officials said that action will be taken against all those found involved in this.

Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Has proposed to take strict action against the mastermind including action under Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA). Shinde described this incident as very disturbing and assured that no accused will be spared. He said that the state government is committed to adopting a policy of zero tolerance in cases of corruption and examination irregularities.
