A decline is being seen in the stock market today i.e. on 15th October. Sensex is trading at the level of 81,700 with a fall of more than 200 points. Nifty has also fallen by more than 50 points, it is trading at 25,050.
Today, a huge decline is being seen in metal and FMCG shares. At the same time, there is a rise in IT and energy shares. Whereas out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 are seeing a rise and 9 are seeing a decline.
Mixed business in Asian market
- Mixed business is being seen in the Asian market. Hong Kong's Hang Seng is up 1.27%. Whereas China's Shanghai Composite is down by 0.52%.
- On October 14, America's Dow Jones rose 0.47% to 43,065 and Nasdaq closed 0.87% to 18,502. The S&P 500 also rose 0.77% to 5,859.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹3,731 crore on October 14. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹2,278 crore.
Opportunity to invest in Hyundai India's IPO from today
Hyundai India's IPO will open today i.e. on 15th October. Investors will be able to bid for this issue till October 17. The company's shares will be listed in the market on October 22.
