The National Citizen Party (NCP) has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of popular content creator, social media personality and actress Kareena Kaiser. On Saturday (May 16), a condolence message signed by Sadia Farzana Dina, a member of the party’s office cell, said that Kareena Kaiser passed away while undergoing treatment in Vellore, India (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).
A few days ago, he was diagnosed with liver-related complications — hepatitis A and E, the obituary said. First he was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. Later, if the condition worsened, he was taken to India for better treatment. He died there while undergoing treatment.
The obituary also said that during the July uprising, he actively stood for the movement and played an important role in shaping public opinion on social media. His vocal stand for justice, rights and democratic values has inspired the youth.
NCP feels that the untimely death of Kareena Kaiser is an irreparable loss to the cultural and digital arena of the country. The team prayed for the eternal peace of his departed soul and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family, relatives and well-wishers.
