Investigation is ongoing
In a press conference today, Deputy Inspector General (Operations) Faisal Kamran said the police are trying to trace the victim and his family, so that the investigation can be carried out. He also said, 'It has not been possible to verify the complaints received so far. The matter is being investigated.'
Faisal Kamran also said that the records of all the hospitals and the CCTV footage of the college have been verified. But no such incident could be confirmed.
DIG Faisal said the students are demanding the custody of the college principal. The Superintendent of Police (SP) and Assistant SP of Model Town have taken away the Principal. Some policemen were injured by stones pelted by students during the protest.
