A witness told BBC Persian that a fresh explosion was heard in western Tehran on Saturday evening, the report said.
News agency AFP reported that its correspondents heard fresh explosions in Tehran.
Meanwhile, the missile attack was reported in two areas of the southern city of Bushehr, Fars news agency reported. Bushehr also has a nuclear power plant.
Iran’s state-run news agency IRNA also reported fresh explosions in Tehran.
However, the source of the explosion could not be immediately ascertained. Earlier, the United States and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran, in response to which Tehran launched counter-attacks in various parts of the Middle East.
