A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Sawai Madhopur district headquarters of Rajasthan. In Keshav Nagar Colony of the city, a stray dog fatally attacked a one and a half year old innocent girl who was in her mother’s lap. During this time, the girl slipped from her mother’s lap and fell on the road, but without caring for her life, the mother fought with the dog and brought her darling out safely from the clutches of death.
The incident occurred on Sunday (January 18) evening, when the woman was passing through the road with her family. Suddenly a ferocious dog attacked them. Due to the shock of the attack, her one and a half year old daughter slipped out of the woman’s hands and fell on the road. The dog pounced towards the girl, but the mother intervened in the form of a lioness. He pushed the dog with one hand and picked up the girl with the other hand and hugged her to his chest. In this struggle, the dog bit the woman badly on many parts of her body, but the mother did not even let the girl get scratched.

This entire incident has been captured in a CCTV camera installed nearby. It can be clearly seen in the video that other people present nearby at the time of the attack started running here and there in fear, while the woman continued to struggle with the dog alone. Later a passerby showed courage and chased the dog away by throwing a stone. The fortunate thing was that at the time the girl fell on the road, there was no vehicle coming from behind, otherwise a big accident could have happened.
5 attacks in a week
There is immense anger among the local residents regarding this incident. According to the information, there is a huge terror of stray dogs in Keshav Nagar and surrounding areas. In the last one week alone, dogs have made five people their victims. Local people allege that the city council and administration are sleeping on this serious problem. Despite repeated complaints, no campaign is being conducted to catch stray dogs.
The victim woman and the girl have been treated in the hospital. At present, the condition of both is out of danger, but this incident has raised serious questions on the security system of the city.
