BNP Chairman Tarek Rahman said, ‘BNP has not assumed a secret or latent form in the name of strategy. I firmly believe that party workers who can play an uncompromising role against injustice and oppression cannot be suppressed by conspiracies or propaganda against that party.’
Tariq Rahman said these things in an exchange meeting with family members of victims of disappearance, murder and torture at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in the capital on Saturday. Mae Dak and Amra BNP family jointly organized this event.
Commenting that there is a conspiracy to disrupt the path of democracy, Tariq Rahman urged everyone to be alert in this regard.
BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmad said, “We have suspended the program for the sake of peace at the request of the Election Commission.” The Election Commission and a political party felt that this is our weakness. Nah…it’s our politeness. Since then, the election commission and a political party want to question the election and possibly withdraw from the election with different tactics.
Salahuddin Ahmed also said, ‘They are looking for opportunities. But we won’t stand a chance.’
