Conspiracy to postpone the elections is underway by deteriorating law and order: Zahid Hossain

BNP standing committee member A ZM Zahid Hossain said the conspiracy to postpone the elections was underway by deteriorating the country's law and order situation.

He made the remarks after visiting the conference of professionals on the occasion of the anniversary of the Azulai coup at the Engineers Institution premises in the capital on Tuesday morning.

Zahid Hossain said, “There is a clear conspiracy to postpone the elections. If the law and order can be degraded, then there is a possibility of a party.

“We want to hope that the interim government, including the chief adviser, will implement the election promises made in mid -February.”

Drawing on the brutal murder of a businessman in front of Mitford Hospital in Old Dhaka, the BNP leader said, “I do not believe that a conscious person can be in a political party for wrongdoing. Today, some people are talking against the acting chairman of our party. We want to say, we are soldiers of the ideals of Shaheed Zia. Khaleda Zia's soldier. The people of the country are looking forward to democracy today under the leadership of Tareq Rahman.

'We do not want to step into any conspiracy. We just want to say friends, be patient. Do not support wrongdoing. The BNP does not give wrong or support wrongdoing. The BNP wants justice for wrongdoing. Mob terrorism does not want the BNP. '

Criticizing the statement of the Jamaat -e -Islami leader, Zahid Hossain said, “A Jamaat leader has said that people have shown a red card to the BNP after the incident of Mitford.” I have questions about the limitations of their knowledge. People will decide – who will show red card, green card, white card. '

BNP cultural secretary Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Ujjal, Dhaka University professor Morshed Hasan Khan was present on the occasion.
