In a new step that reflects the commitment of “Contect” to adopt sustainability standards at the level of its various sectors, the group insurance sector continues, a representative of both Tharwa Insurance Company, the general insurance arm of the group CNFN Financial Holding The Contect Insurance Company, the group's insurance mediation arm, its cooperation with the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), in the context of joint efforts aimed at supporting sustainable economic growth and enhancing the concepts of inclusion and diversity in the Egyptian labor market, through two qualitative initiatives targeting the small and medium enterprises sector, and empowering women in the work environment, according to the statement sent on July 13.

“Tharwa Insurance” was chosen as one of three public insurance companies only at the level of the Republic to participate in the “Insurgrow Egypt 2025” program, which is implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian Insurance Federation and a number of local and international partners, where this program, which extends over six months, aims to create a qualitative shift in the way of designing and providing products Insurance, by enabling insurance companies to develop innovative and specially designed solutions to meet the needs of the small and medium enterprises sector, and help it manage risk more efficiently, and expand access to insurance services, and the choice of “wealth for insurance” within this program reflects confidence in its experiences and its continuous commitment to its pivotal role in serving this vital sector.

In this context, Professor Ahmed Khalifa, Managing Director of Tharwa Insurance Company, stated: “We are proud of our choice as a major partner in this ambitious initiative, which we see a real opportunity to make a qualitative shift in designing and providing insurance solutions for the small and medium enterprises sector, as it is one of the pivotal sectors in the Egyptian economy. In the same context, the Contect insurance brokerage company renews its partnership with GIZ Egypt by joining the “Women on Track” program, which aims to enhance the work environment for women within private companies, especially in sectors with high representation of men, and the program includes building the capabilities of administrative teams, developing internal policies, and applying institutional practices that support gender equality, and enhances women's representation in leadership positions Technical functions, Contink for insurance mediation will participate in a series of training and consulting activities in cooperation with GIZ Egypt, including review of internal policies and the application of effective tools to enable women professionally within the work environment, where this partnership establishes a Contect status for insurance mediation as one of the first brokerage companies in the Egyptian market to adopt a comprehensive approach based on the concepts of institutional justice and development Sustainable, and seeks to activate the role of women as an active element in society.
