About 6 months later, the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has also broken the seven walls of various chapters of the Bengal Liberation War surrounded by the sculpture. This time, the 'Ganminar' will be built in July to commemorate the martyrs.
DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz told today's newspaper, “The sculpture of Mujib was demolished on August 5. There is no profit by leaving it in this way, if something new can be done there. That's why we're cleaning the place before. We will think about what to do there. '
Asked whether the 'Ganminar' was being held in July in the place – Ejaz said, “Not there, it will be done in the green space next to it.”
A sculpture of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was displayed in the march of Victory Day in 2021 and 2022. Later, the sculpture was established in the Vijay Sarani of Dhaka, the 'death -threatening premises' were built with the murals of various Bengali chapters of Bengal. Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the “Death Prajayi premises” on November 7, 2012. Meanwhile, it was recently decided to build a 'Ganminar' in place of the 'Deathsijayi premises' to preserve the memory of public resistance and sacrifice that took place in the July coup. At that press conference, director general of the Bangla Academy Mohammad Azam said, “Thousands of people were martyred in July-August mass uprising. They will be built in memory of “Ganminar”.
The press conference said that the program was taken to ensure the involvement of the masses in this initiative. The Public Implementation Committee wants to give a preliminary visible appearance of this minaret by August 5. Their plan has been arranged by the entire victory of Sarani.
According to DNCC sources, the seventh corporation meeting of the DNCC was held on June 23. At that meeting, it was decided that a sculpture would be constructed and an open space to commemorate the martyrs on July. In the meantime a concept has been created. Details can be found within a few days.
After this decision, the work of breaking the seven walls of the 'Death Paradise premises', which surrounded Vijay Sarani's sculpture from Friday morning. Until this afternoon, the breakdown was seen there.

The DNCC is overseeing the sculpture. An official of the responsible City Corporation told today's newspaper, “A contractor company has been given tender to break the sculpture.” They are working to break up with their people.
