ACC in search of the state's four thousand crores in the construction of 'Mujib Year' and 'Mural'

The Anti -Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched a search of the expenditure of Tk 1,000 crore in the state treasury by celebrating the birth anniversary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and building more than 3,000 murals and sculptures of the state treasury. ACC Director General Akhter Hossain told the newspaper on Wednesday.
The Director General of the ACC said that the ACC is investigating the corruption of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, his sister Sheikh Rehana, as part of a search of corruption in the construction of 'Mujib Year' and 'Mural'. A search team has been formed in the continuation of this.
The ACC's letter said that former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana, including others, spent around Tk 1,000 crore in the state treasury, feasting the birth anniversary of Sheikh Mujib and making more than 3,000 murals and sculptures of his money. The letter is asked to complete the investigation of the complaint in accordance with the law, rules and circular issued at various times. During the search, a bank has been asked to report immediately to block the account or to crush an asset or property.
Meanwhile, the ACC has filed six cases against Sheikh Hasina, Sheikh Rehana's family members on charges of irregularities in the allocation of plots in the Purbachal new city project. Sheikh Hasina has been charged in six cases, her sister's daughter Tulip Siddique has been charged in three cases. Besides, a case has been filed against Sajeeb Wazed Joy, Saima Wazed Doll, Sheikh Rehana, Radwan Mujib Siddique Bobby and Azmina Siddique.
