He also held a session of talks with Mohamed Aqab Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energy The Algerian and his accompanying delegation, in order to explore the areas of cooperation and how to develop and exploit the fields, refining and petrochemicals, trade and marketing liquefied natural gas, as well as projects of green hydrogen production and marketing, in order to exploit the opportunities available in the mining sector, especially the manufacturing industries for phosphate and fertilizer production, and exchange experiences and technology in this vital field.
In a related context, Badawi held a session with the Claudio Descalzi, CEO of Eni, Italy, witnessed a discussion of the company's expansion plans in Egypt and the Well Drilling Program for 2025, including the drilling of the second well in the back field, and the two sides touched on the results of excavation and exploration in the back field in the wake of the return of the digger “Sibm 10,000” to the site by the end of last January in the framework of joint efforts between the two sides to add new quantities on Production, and the position of the Nour field development plan has also been discussed as well as ways to accelerate the Narcissus development plans.
The meeting also dealt with activating the commercial agreements of the Cypriot “Crohnos” field, which is organized for the process of linking, transportation, processing, liquefaction and export, And review the position of technical studies and the timetable For the project, against the background of the recent signing of the government's conversation agreement to develop the field by linking the Egyptian facilities, in partnership with Eni and Total Enemz, the two concessions in the field as they are field development partners.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian Petroleum Sector Pavilion witnessed the exhibition accompanying the conference, which is participating in the Egyptian General Petroleum Authority, the Egyptian Holding Company for Petrochemicals (Ikk), the Egyptian Holding Company for Natural Gas (EGAS) and subsidiaries, with the turnout by major visitors and representatives of international countries and companies participating in the event.
