Bangladesh gave citizenship to the Chairman of the Yangwan Corporation in Korea


Kihak Sang, chairman of the Yangwan Corporation of South Korea, has been granted citizenship of Bangladesh. He was given honorary citizenship at the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2021 for his outstanding contribution to the RMG (readymade garment) and textile sector of Bangladesh. He has been assisting in the formation of this industry since coming to Bangladesh for the first time in the 9th decade.

Professor Muhammad Yunus, the chief adviser to the interim government, gave him the certificate of honorable citizenship in recognition of his contribution on Wednesday.

“I am really honorable to receive honorable citizenship,” said Kihak Sang at the investment summit.

Earlier this morning, the chief adviser to the interim government attended the Bangladesh investment conference at around 8am. Muhammad Yunus. In his presence, the investment conference was inaugurated at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital.

Lutf Siddiqui, the special envoy to the chief adviser, performed the ceremony. Ashik Chowdhury, the executive chairman of the Board of Investment (BIDA), gave the keynote presentation in the beginning.

On the occasion, the Chief Advisor of Bangladeshi Citizenship Certificate and Passport was given to Yangwan Corporation Chairman Kihak Sang for investment in Bangladesh. Muhammad Yunus.
