The meeting witnessed a review of the UAE's Mubadala activities in the field of research and exploration for natural gas in Egypt through its participation in important areas in the Mediterranean, represented in the Zohr field concession area with a percentage of 10% and the Nour field concession area with a percentage of 20%, in addition to Block No. 4 in the Red Sea with a percentage of 27%.

The meeting discussed the recent global bidding to search for natural gas in the Mediterranean Sea and the Delta, which was put forward by the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) in 12 regions. The Emirati company expressed its interest in the bidding and that it reviewed the information that was provided about the opportunities available in the bidding through the Egypt Digital Exploration and Production Portal (EUG). .
