Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong also paid tribute to Ratan Tata and called him a true friend of his country. French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday condoled the death of Ratan Tata and praised his contribution to innovation and manufacturing. After the death of Ratan Tata, step brother Noel Tata was made the new chairman of Tata Trust on Friday (11 October 2024). Ratan Tata played an important role in forming Tata Trust.
