Arab Finance: Egypt, responsible for the Mediterranean file, visited Dubrafka Swita, to reaffirm the commitment of the European Union Support Egypt At this crucial moment. This visit was also an opportunity to present its vision on the new Mediterranean Charter Document.

The Commissioner Switza, the Egyptian President, Mr. Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, Mustafa Madbouly, the Egyptian Prime Minister, Badr Abdel -Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Affairs abroad, and Rania Al -Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, in addition to that, has signed with the Egyptian government a loan of 90 million euros in favor of the “Misr Egypt's food” project supported by the European Union and the European Investment Bank.

The commissioner reaffirmed the strong relations between the European Union and Egypt and reviewed the implementation of the strategic and comprehensive partnership in several areas such as economic cooperation, trade and investment, energy and clean technology, climate adaptation, security and immigration regulation.

The basic values ​​and common strategic interests are the point of focusing cooperation between the UNES and Egypt.

The commissioner dealt with Egypt's efforts to enhance its political and economic reforms in line with the total financial assistance package submitted by the European Union and the priorities of the strategic and comprehensive partnership. In this context, the European Union will continue to work with our partners to attract foreign investments for Egypt, including investments that include clean technology and renewable energy.

To formulate the new Mediterranean Charter, the Commissioner of the Egyptian views listened to ensuring that the new charter is able to provide real sustainable benefits to the region.

This visit comes in the context of a series of high -level consultations held by Swita to draft the Charter Charter Document, which is formulated in close cooperation with Mediterranean partners and member states, as it will address common challenges by supporting relations between peoples, economic growth, and promoting regional security and stability.
