Jamaat -e -Islami has staged a protest march in the capital demanding protection of the sanctity of Ramadan and control of goods. The Dhaka Metropolitan North and South Committee organized the protest march on Friday (February 26th) after the Zuma prayers. Amir Mohammad Selim Uddin of Dhaka Metropolitan North said that effective steps should be taken to stop all kinds of instability, nudity and disillusionment, including the hotel-restaurant closure during the day.
