The price per ton of DAP fertilizer will cost $ 5.
The meeting approved a proposal to buy 1,000 tonnes of bag of urea fertilizer in the 12th lot from Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company Limited (Kafko).
In addition, the meeting sources said that the purchase committee has approved the import of bulk granular (optional) urea fertilizer in the 5th lot from Saudi Arabia. With the approval of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, held on June 7, 2012, the agreement was signed for the import of 100,000 tonnes of urea fertilizer through the state agreement from Saudi Arabia in the fiscal year 2021-27.

The price per ton of phosphoric acid is $ 9.22, which is Tk 12.2 million in Bangladeshi currency.
According to sources, the committee has approved another purchase proposal for import of 25,000 tonnes (+1 percent) for DAPFCL in Chittagong.
At the end of all the tender process, the TEC recommended the only bidder, Messrs. Sun International FZ, will supply the UAE fertilizer. The price per ton of phosphoric acid is 5.75 dollars. As a result, the cost of buying 20 thousand tonnes of phosphoric acid will be Tk.
