The government wants to see the business of borrowers affected by natural disasters, including Karona, Russia-Ukraine war, global economic downturn and floods. The necessary policy assistance will be provided to the victims who have 5 million or more loans from the bank. Bangladesh Bank has formed a five -member committee for this.

According to Bangladesh Bank, various initiatives have already been taken to keep the country's economy running and consolidate the bank sector by dealing with the trauma caused by various causes (Covid-1, Russia-Ukraine war, global economic low growth, floods, floods and above all political context). The Bangladesh Bank has constituted a five -member selection committee to recommend the necessary policy assistance to ensure the loan collection of the bank by reorganizing the business and profitable levels of the affected borrowers due to non -control of the bank.
The notification also said that the committee will recommend scrutinizing whether the borrower has been actually damaged due to non-control and the restructuring of the troubled organizations and providing policy assistance to the organization. Apart from the officials of the Bangladesh Bank and Finance Ministry, the committee has business representatives and experienced bankers.
The loans that have been classified due to non -control of 5 crore and more numbers in the work of the committee will include those loans.
