Chief Adviser Professor Dr. left for Davos, Switzerland on Monday night (September 21) on a four-day official visit to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF). Muhammad Yunus.
Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiul Alam told the media that an Emirates Airlines flight carrying Professor Yunus and his entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1 pm (today).
During the visit, the chief adviser is expected to hold bilateral talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Finnish President Alexander Staub, King Philippe of Belgium and Thai Prime Minister Paengtern Shinawatra.
Chief Adviser Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, daughter of the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde, President of Meta Global Affairs Sir Nick Clegg, Secretary General of Amnesty International Dr. Agnes Callamard and World Trade Organization (WTO) Director General Dr. Ngozi will also meet with Okonjo-Iewala.
A separate dialogue on Bangladesh will be held at the World Economic Forum which will be attended by global business leaders and chief executives of various international organizations.
The Chief Advisor is scheduled to return home on January 25.
